PLEASE NOTE: Bucks County Council term dates differ from Carrington Infant School slightly and therefore you should refer to dates for all schools that other children in your family may attend.

ABSENCE

In line with DfES (http://www.dfes.gov.uk) regulations we require a note of explanation from parents whenever a child is absent from school. Parents wishing to take their child/ren out of school for any reason other than medical ones should complete a Leave of Absence form at least four weeks beforehand. These forms are available from the school office. Leave of Absence is granted up to a total of 10 days within an academic year. All unexplained absences and leave of absence in excess of 10 days are counted as unauthorised.
