Schools Closure List

In accordance with the Governing Body's Mission Statement, our school is committed to developing each child:

  • academically
  • socially
  • physically
  • emotionally
  • spiritually

    with respect to their individual needs and entitlement in order that they grow with confidence and self –esteem throughout their childhood.

    AIMS OF THE SCHOOL

    The Governors and Staff firmly believe in the right of all pupils to have equal access to an education which:-

    - offers a wide variety of experiences and opportunities whilst sustaining a high quality of provision throughout;
    - challenges and stimulates, whilst maintaining sympathy at all times for variation in individual abilities;
    - enables and empowers, whilst ensuring that the first and most important objective is to learn 'how to learn';
    - embraces all developmental needs, whilst never losing sight of the primary task of preparing our children for a productive, independent and morally responsible adulthood.

    Our School curriculum is broadly based, balanced and differentiated in order to promote the mental, physical, cultural, moral and spiritual development of all pupils. It aims to prepare pupils for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of the next stage of their education. We offer a caring yet stimulating and secure environment.

    We aim, during the time a child spends with us:

    a) to develop a high standard of literacy and numeracy to the best of each child's ability.

    b) to develop the ability to study, research and question.

    c) to teach respect for other's values and beliefs.

    d) to develop independence, self-control and self-confidence.

    e) to forge links between home, school and the community.
