                         Congratulations

to the school's gardening club whose scarecrow has been selected for display at the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show 6-11 July 2010 for the second year running.  This year the theme is Shakespeare's Comedies - and our entry is Bottom from A Midsummer Night's Dream. Children involved will be taking their scarecrow, and visiting  the show shortly.  All the selected scarecrows will then be on display for the duration of the show, and show visitors will vote for their favourite during the week of the show.  So if you are visiting the show please ensure you cast your vote for our entry.  To see last year's entry click here

Quality mark for Carrington Infants School

Carrington Infants School has been reassessed for and awarded the Basic Skills Agency Quality Mark for the second time. Well Done Carrington Infants!

The Primary Quality Mark, known as PQM is a nationally recognised symbol of good practice in the teaching of reading, writing and maths. It actually provides a framework whereby schools can work to raise the standards of basic skills.
