Ofsted, is the Government department, for inspecting schools standards. The last School inspection took place between 2-3 February 2010. Carrington Infant School is a good school. This is acknowledged overwhelmingly by parents and carers, who are very supportive of the school, exemplified by one who commented, 'The school is improving every year.' The school offers a very warm welcome to everybody, whatever their background or needs, and outstanding care and support lies at the heart of its work. The following is the letter sent by the Lead Inspector to all the children of Carrington Infant School after his visit.
