  • Speak out. Stay safe. NSPCC visit

    Mon 22 Jan 2024

We had a visit from the NSPCC to talk to us about their 'Speak out, stay safe' initiative. It helped us to understand:

    • abuse in all its forms and how to recognise the signs of abuse
    • that abuse is never a child’s fault and we have the right to be safe
    • where to get help and the sources of help available, including Childline service.
  • Respect Assembly

    Mon 08 Jan 2024

We have started the new term and new year with a wonderful assembly all about RESPECT. This is our school value this term and what better way to mark this than to invite PTA member and ex-parent, Kate Warren, mechanic, into school. Kate shared with the children why she loves her job, why girls can do anything they want to and to never give up on your dream. The children also learnt how to check the tread on a tyre and saw a model, replica car engine. Thank you Kate, it was BRILLIANT.
