Children usually leave Infant School at the end of the academic year in which they reach their 7th birthday (end of Year 2). If they have been offset at any stage before this it will be after their 8th birthday, but still at the end of Year 2.

The process for transferring from infant to junior school is the same as when starting school in reception. The online form becomes available in November and closes early January of the academic year your child is in Year 2. You will be sent further information by the infant school during the autumn term.

The majority of our pupils transfer to Carrington Junior School, which is on the same site and with which we maintain close contact.
