Why we have a climate action plan

As part of the Department for Education’s (DfE) sustainability and climate change strategy, all schools are required to develop a Climate Action Plan. This plan helps us take practical steps to reduce our environmental impact, promote sustainability, and prepare our children for a greener future. By embedding climate awareness into our school culture, we aim to protect the planet, support the well-being of our community, and ensure that our pupils learn the importance of caring for the world around them. Our commitment reflects both national priorities and our belief that every small action can make a big difference.
