102 parents responded to the survey.
99% said their child is happy at the school
98% said their child felt safe at the school
99% said that the children are well behaved - 1% answered 'don't know'

CIS is made a wonderful place for the children by the outstanding staff. The children are safe, heard and cared for, which creates an excellent environment for learning. I often hear “I love school”, which as a parent says it all. My children are thriving at the school. Thank you!

School Development Plan - The Headlines

These are our key school development priorities for 2025 / 26:
1. Trauma informed and attachment aware practices are understood and used by all staff regardless of role.
2. Oracy is explicitly taught and children use their skills to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of the world around them.
3. Continuous Provision is developed in Year 1 to enable a smoother transition and increased attainment in reading, writing and maths.
4. Children's misconceptions are addressed in the moment to enable greater progress.
5. Staff training to ensure implementation of the curriculum is consistently good across all subjects and classes.
