We are delighted to announce the launch of Carrington Story Time, our brand‑new school podcast created to celebrate the joy of reading across our Infant and Junior Federation. The first episode is available here ​INTRODUCTORY EPISODE ​ and features children from Year 1, Year 2 and Year 5. 

At Carrington School's Federation, we believe that reading opens doors—doors to imagination, knowledge, confidence, and endless possibility. To continue nurturing a strong reading culture across the Federation, Mrs Cliffe and myself have created Carrington Story Time podcast as a fun and accessible way for children to share their love of books with the whole school community

Each podcast episode will feature our pupils as the stars of the show. Children from across the year groups will take turns to introduce stories, read extracts, discuss their favourite books, and share what reading means to them. This platform gives our pupils the opportunity not only to develop their reading fluency, expression and confidence, but also to celebrate one another’s achievements in a creative and exciting new way.

We warmly invite you to listen along at home. Whether you enjoy an episode during the school run, at bedtime, or as part of your family reading time, we hope Carrington Story Time becomes a special part of your week. It is our aim that this podcast inspires even more children to read and helps families discover new stories together.
