Admission to EYFS / Reception
Carrington Infant School accepts children from 4-7 years old. The catchment area can be found by using the postcode checker on the Buckinghamshire Council website:
Children are admitted to Reception in the September after a child's fourth birthday. There is a phased induction process at the start of term, which is advised to parents in the summer term before starting with us.
The school’s admission policy is that of Buckinghamshire Council which manages the admission process. Parents should contact them directly to discuss applications. If the number of applications exceeds sixty, Buckinghamshire Council uses its criteria to decide which children are to be offered a place. Full details of this are available on the Council website, see the admissions policies link below.
Each year the Council publish a timetable of key dates for the September admissions process. Please refer to the guide to starting school in the links below for these dates.
If you are interested in a place at Carrington Infant School for year groups other than Reception please follow the link below regarding changing schools mid-year for further information on the application process.
If you would like to arrange to view the school, please contact the Office team (email@example.com) to book this in.
