At Carrington Infant School we recognise both the physical and mental health benefits of cycling. We are proud that over 80% of our pupils leave EYFS able to ride a bike. In 2023 we gained funding to provide every child with specialist training provided by Bikeability. We are ambitious about increasing the number of children in our school able to ride a bike independently to 100%.
